My friend Barney Popkin sent these photos. He got them from Dr. John E. Priest, an eminent civil engineer/economist. These were taken in 1911, obviously a year in which global warming was not a big concern.

Niagara Fall NY generally has snowy and cold winters but frequently changeable to rain as well from mid-November to mid-March. But in year 1911 falls where almost frozen!!!

FANTASTIC PHOTOS. Again we see the awsome power of nature. Wait until you see two waterbags pass underneath the Golden Gate Bridge. Not as awsome, but just as spectacular and more earth shaking in their implications.

FYI...global warming does not necessarily make the world warmer. It could also make the world colder.
