UC-Davis Water Students Start 'Blog'/Social Bookmarking Site
Water students at UC-Davis (UCD), one of the world's better (after Oregon State University, of course!) have started a water blog. But it is more than a traditional blog; it is really a water resources community social bookmarking site (see Johnny32's comment). SISWEB is an acronym: Scientific Information Syndication WEBsite.
The users really run the site; you can partcipate by registering.
Looks pretty good - great job, folks!
Interesting post about the CIA predicting the water future.
Oh, this is cool!
Based on my understanding from what they say in their "About" section WaterSISWEB is not a blog but a social bookmarking website dedicated to water resources community.
I haven't registered in their website yet but based on what I see in their About Section and my experience with other social bookmarking website it seems that anyone can get a user account and start posting links, commenting, and voting to other users' posts and comments. These things are not usually done in a blog.
This is an interesting idea! Let's see where it goes.
