That's what Robert Adamski says - thank a plumber and a sanitary engineer. Every 11 March is World Plumbing Day!
What's a sanitary engineer? In the Stone Age it's what we called an environmental engineer.
"There's no such thing as a sanitary engineer or a civil engineer." - George B. 'Burke' Maxey, my first boss ( a stratigrapher turned hydrogeologist)

It's true that the plumbers help in maintaining sanitation .They really deserve the word thanks - they work with humor and skills to save a house from turning into a mess ...Thank a plumber and a sanitary engineer!!!

Plumbers are known to install and repair plumbing systems or find things lost in drains like the earring we saved yesterday for a homeowner. Without them, our house would be such a mess, so it is right to give them a tribute on a very special day.

As a Sanitary Engineer I thank you for letting me know this. In Connecticut we see all of the local septage haulers with sayings such as, "Your #2 is our #1 specialty," or my personal favorite, "Stool Bus," which is painted yellow with fake windows.
