A few days ago Emily Green featured this Monopoly-style board game on her blog:
The board game is nifty, but the really good part comes when Emily describes the SNWA's pipeline project, the study of the export of surface water from the Mississippi-Missouri basin to the arid West, and other assorted goodies. She also reminds us of the excellent NRDC report, Pipe Dreams.
And speaking of pipelines (which should be funded by the Federal government, of course) and pipe dreams, just the other day I received this comment to one of my NAWAPA posts. Let's hope the disease spreads no further.
"What western water managers preach and what western water managers do is often contradictory. This much can be relied on: inconsistency starts at the top. " - Emily Green

One cannot say that at the very least Las Vegas Nevada is not innovative ... this newest game could be a real winner ... Have fun ...
