Michael Milstein wrote this article in yesterday's Oregonian. It deals with the suggestion that Oregon sell some of its Columbia River water to the thirsty Southwest or other areas. Yours truly has some words of wisdom in the story.
Oregon State Sen. David Nelson (R-Pendleton) proposes to sell 1 million acre-feet to out-of-state communities. He claims Oregon could annually raise several billion dollars doing so. Here is the press release from the Oregon State Senate Republican Office:
