Here are three (Drs. J.P. Lobo-Ferreira, Todd Jarvis and Allyson Beall) of the four presentations from my 6WWF
session on 'Groundwater and IWRM'.
From left to right: Todd Jarvis, Allyson Beall, me, Alice Aureli, and J.P. Lobo-Ferreira (thanks for the picture, JP! - taken by Richard Engberg).
There was a good turnout for our session; I would say just a bit over 100.
Todd Jarvis alluded to a nonrenewable groundwater conference he and I co-chaired over three years ago. As he promised, here is a link to the conference report.
Now, here is the program to our session:

Dr. Lobo-Ferreira's presentation deals with groundwater in the new EU water management plans with examples from Portugal:

Each of the following two presentations deals with nonrenewable or fossil groundwater, which needs to be included in IWRM.

Here is the paper by Beall et al. upon which her presentation is based.

She also sent the link to the Palouse Basin model.
Here is Dr. Alice Aureli's presentation:
The session concluded with the UNESCO IHP/WWAP book launch, Groundwater and Global Change: Trends, Opportunities, and Challenges. Note that the name has changed. Be patient; it takes a while to download.
